Shadow Diplomacy Project was founded by Nandini, a high school student based in Jaipur, India, with a long-standing interest in international relations, sovereignty disputes, and diplomatic strategy.
That interest was shaped early by a fascination with the gap between how diplomacy is reported and how it actually functions — the difference between the statement issued and the negotiation it conceals. Formal study in foreign policy and international relations gave that instinct a framework; this project gives it an outlet.
Beyond the research, interests include competitive football, cricket, and horse riding — pursuits that share, in their own way, an appreciation for strategy under constraint.
Shadow Diplomacy Project reflects an ongoing commitment to rigorous, independent analysis of the disputes that shape how states recognize, contest, and negotiate sovereignty.
